Hazel Betco Dagoy is a New York licensed attorney and is of counsel to Tungol Law. Hazel works closely with clients for their various immigration law needs. Her practice includes naturalization, family and employment based cases. Her passion in helping immigrants stems from her family’s rich immigration experience. She aims to assist individuals and families realize their own immigration dream.
Hazel qualified to sit for the New York State bar examination as a foreign law graduate. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of San Carlos in the Philippines and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She also got her Bachelor of Laws Degree from the same university and was a Dean’s Lister.
In her first year as an attorney, the New York State Access To Justice Program awarded her the Pro Bono Service Award in recognition of her dedicated service and outstanding contribution to the program.
Hazel is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA).
Hazel also holds an attorney license in the Philippines. Before migrating to the United States, she worked in the Supreme Court of the Philippines as a Regional Trial Court Attorney.
Hazel is fluent in English, Cebuano and Tagalog.
